"Important Recall Notice"

You may remember that within the past year there have been some striking recalls from most of the major auto manufacturers. Some have been very surprising. Even Toyota, a brand some would argue is the safest automobile on the road, has had to recall thousands of its cars and truck. Read the following Scripture and then the following little imaginary “recall notice.” I think you will see a very clear principle for your daily practice.

Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:13-18 NIV).

Important Recall Notice: The maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to the serious defect in the primary and central component, or heart. This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units.
